Family fall fun

We went to a corn maze and apple orchard. It was fun! We would lose each other and try to find each other agian in the maze. We brought the walkie-talkies! Micah, of course helped us find our way out! We picked raspberries and Micah had to chuck them at us! We didn't know they haorange raspberries! They were so sweet! (We made raspberry crisp when we got home!)
Kaeli and I enjoyed a fresh carmel apple and the rest of them had fresh apple donuts! We discovered we like "Sweet 16" apples the best! We will do it again, for sure!!!

Micah has a good move

Micah is enjoying the move to Orono the most! He loves the football team and he evns gets to suit up for the varsity games. Even though he had a back injury followed by a concussion, he is still loving it! He has made a lot of new friends. Including a girl freind Claire! they went to the home coming dance together.
I am so proud of him! He works so hard at school. He has always been great at math and in the top math classes! The other school districts he has gone to have a lower level of math than here. So not only is he taking Honors Geometry, he asked if he could take Honors Alg 2. So he can catch up to the other advanced math kids! (Now I get to see if I can even remember any of this stufff to help him!)You are an amazing kid Micah, I love you!
The last 2 years he does not like to get his picture taken. If I try to take it, he puts his hnd up. if I do snek and capture one, he tries to delete it. So for the homecoming dance, I told him, I would buy his clothes if he let me take a few nice pictures! Here you go! Also Claires dad has an awesome car Micah wants!

Strange visitors

We recently moved and we live on acreage, so we never get visitors! I was getting ready to take a shower and I herd someone walk up the front steps and knock on the door. Since we never get visitors, I thought I better see who it is. So I got dressed and went to the door. I was scared to death when i saw who was at the door! 2 wild turkeys walked up my front steps and knocked on my door! Now, I knew you wouldn't believe me. So after I calmed down, I ran for the camera! Here you go!!!
BTW, I have named them Jennie (Jennie-O-Turkey!0 and Louis(Louis Rich) They come and visit me everyday! They are my only visitors:(

Sweet Bekah!

We have a big tree behind the house that a family of squirrels live in. We have seen a mom and 4 babies. They are so fun to watch. Bekah thinks one covers his eyes while the other 3 hide and they play hide and seek! She says the mom watches over them while they play and the dad is out finding nuts for them. I took the opportunity to
tell her that dads work real hard to make sure their kids don't go hungry!
The next thing I know, I see her put a pile of acorns next to the tree. So I asked her if she searched the yard to find all the acorns. She said No, when we were at St Francis yesterday, I collected them for the squirrels so they would have enough to eat!
Bekah you are such a sweet girl! You are trying to provide food for a family of squirrels! Not to many people would take the time to search for acorns for a family of squirrels! I am so proud of your loving, caring spirit. I am sorry, I don't take more time to care for you! You are a very special girl! I love you very much!
It reminds me that God loves and cares for us like that. If you look around you just may see a pile of acorns God has given you today!

We now have 3 women in this house!

Kaeli and Bekah are both women now! It has been a interesting week!

No TV

We have begun a new phase, no TV! It was hard at first, we just keep looking at each other and wondering what to do. Now we are playing games, cards, pool, wii! We have a lot more time together as a family. Today we had a break thru. Micah went outside and invented a game. It was so much fun. We all loved it. I think it may be a new tradition! It is like golf and frisbee golf mixed together! Bekah made the score sheets and Micah created the game and thought up par for each of the holes! Then Kaeli won!!! Today we brought dad into the game and of course dad wins! Way to go guys!

Moving troubles!

We are moving June 15th! No, we are not, we haven't herd back from them! Oh I guess we are moving again! Lets go look at the house, oh wait someone is leaving there! I guess we aren't moving! Oh they are going to move him out and we are moving again! Lets go look at the house! Wait not only did he not move out he moved someone else in!!! Well we need to know if we are moving! Kaeli hasn't done gymnastics for months while we waited to move and now it is time to signup for school and football starts! We make our decsion today for sure, if it isn't ready we stay put! Well it isn't ready, we are not moving! The girls are so happy and Micah is crying! he really wants to play football for Orono! Well at least that is settled, we can move on and get ready for school to start. Wait they moved the kid out and we can move in this weekend! What? Ok here we go again!
We just had one of the craziest weeks of our life. We moved 50 miles. While moving our truck broke down, while hauling a trailer full of our belongings! I had to pull Alans truck with my truck to the shop, then borrow a truck to haul the trailer back to the old house! BTW our truck needs a new engine ($5000) which we don't currently have! So we are down to 1 vehicle for awhile! When we got to the new house, after days on end of rain (try moving in pouring rain and thunder storms!)The ceiling in the basement and upstairs were falling down with water damage. Once the contractor came to fix it them we discovered it was full of mold! What have we gotten ourselves into. Well we came this far we keep moving forward!
A couple days later a cop comes walking in our home without knocking and tells us we are tresspassing and we have 24hours to get out or we will be arressted! What? To be continued!
