Great ideas, I don't want to forget!

Ideas to Make Life Easier
Why didn’t I think of that?! We guarantee you’ll
be uttering those words more than once at these
ingenious little tips, tricks and ideas that solve
everyday problems.

Hull strawberries easily using a straw.

Rubbing a walnut over scratches in your furniture
will disguise dings and scrapes.

Stop cut apples browning in your child’s lunch box
by securing with a rubber band.

Overhaul your linen cupboard, store bed linen sets
inside one of their own pillowcases and there will
be no more hunting through piles for a match.

Pump up the volume by placing your iPhone & iPod
in a bowl. The concave shape amplifies the music.

Re-use a wet-wipes container to store plastic bags.

Add this item to your beach bag. Baby powder
gets sand off your skin easily, who knew?!

Attach a Velcro strip to the wall to store soft toys.

Use wire to make a space to store gift wrap rolls
against the ceiling, rather than cluttering up the
floor.

Find tiny lost items like earrings by putting a
stocking over the vacuum hose.

Make an instant cupcake carrier by cutting
crosses into a box lid.

For those who can’t stand the scrunching and
bunching: how to perfectly fold a fitted sheet.

Forever losing your bathroom essentials? Use
magnetic strips to store bobby pins, tweezers
and clippers, behind a vanity door

Store shoes inside shower caps to stop dirty
soles rubbing on your clothes. And you can
find them in just about every hotel.

A muffin pan becomes a craft caddy. Magnets
hold the plastic cups down to make them
tip-resistant.

Bread tags make the perfect cord labels.

Bake cupcakes directly in ice-cream cones, so
much more fun and easier for kids to eat.

Microwave your own popcorn in a plain brown paper
bag. Much healthier and cheaper than the packet
stuff.

Install a tension rod to hang your spray bottles.

Turn your muffin pan upside down, bake cookie-dough
over the top and voila, you have cookie bowls for fruit
or ice-cream.

Freeze Aloe Vera in ice-cube trays for soothing
sunburn relief.

Create a window-box veggie patch using guttering.

Use egg cartons to separate and store your
Christmas decorations.

Tough Choices!

We moved back to St Francis this spring but we still drove the kids to Orono the rest of the school year! Nothing makes me feel like a bad parent more than how many times these kids have switched schools. The main reason they have switched so often is to try and keep them out of the St Francis schools! For some reason God keeps bringing us back here!!!
Kaeli wanted to switch back to St Francis but the rest wanted to stay at Orono. I really feel for Micah, who would want to switch schools in High School! Academically, Orono was perfect for him.
I also feel for Bekah. For once she had friends in school. She has moved around a lot and had a hard time making good friends! Both the church and school in Orono, were an answer to pray. She loved both and had a lot of good friends.
Ezra is young enough, that it doesn't mater as much. Except that he is in 3rd grade and he has been in 3 different schools! At least this 4th switch is back to a school he already went too!
So after a lot of prayer, stress, meetings, even fighting with the schools. They are all 4 in St Francis and it is going well! PTL, they all have friends and are coming home with good stories. I am glad God loves them more then I do and I pray he can use all this maddness for His good in their lives! He is teaching me that I need to change my attitude!

Kaeli is 14!

Where does the time go? I never believed it when people said, their childhood would fly by! In the midst of raising 3 little kids, I thought time was standing still! It does fly by though. Enjoy your kids today, because tomorrow they are a little older! I enjoy all the ages and watching them grow but there is nothing like snuggling up with them when they are little!
Kaeli you had your 3 year old bithday at Lake George. I still remember you were so excited to get your first Leo! Now you are having your 14th birthday at Lake George! You still like gymnastics but now you are more interested in friends and boys! You tried to get friends from Isanti, St Francis, Andover and Orono. It ended up being a busy day for people with fall sports. You did manage to get your closest friends there and have a great time!
Bekah, Becca, Kaeli, Abby, Ashley, Ashley!

                                                         Of Course Justin was here!

                                                      Modeling his Perfume!

Thanks Abby, for the Justin Bieber Perfume!

I am CRAZY about JUSTIN BIEBER!!!!
PS. I just have to say Ezra you are so handsome in the background!!!

Don't forget you "made" your own cake!

Yeah! No boy friends!

Happy 14th Kaeli! May the Lord bless you with a great year and great friends!

State Fair 2011

We went to the State Fair this year! We  have 6 in our family, so we don't go to often! As a matter of fact this was Ezra's first time at the fair and 2nd time for the girls. Micah decided he would rather stay home. He doesn't like rides and crowds and heat!!!! They did get to do the Giant Slide. Last time it was closed for rain and this time it was starting to sprinkle! The good news is we had a lot of fun! The bad news is we couldn't find Alan all day! Our cells phone weren't working in the crowds! The scarest part was when we lost Ezra! He was with us one minute and then he was gone! Thank God he was at the information booth. The same thing happened with Micah when he was little at Valley Fair! They think they don't se you, so they take off running to try and catch up to you., but you were standing right next to them the whole time!!! A lot of tears but a happy ending!!! Finally at the end of the day we found Alan! We went on a family ride together! It was cold and wet but fun!!!

Fun with Dad!

All the kids love to play remote control cars with Dad! They love to have him try and run them over! Ezra really had fun, letting dad drive under is bridge!

Ezra fall 2011

Ezra is back at St Francis Elementary, riding the bus with McKenna! He is excited to do soccer this fall. His team is the Ice Dragons! He is most lookign forward to doing Awana, because he will get to see Hayden every week!!!

Bear bait!

They always want to sleep outside. So they made themselves a tent and asked if they could sleep out there. Alan said sure but the bears might get ya! Andover house 2009!
